5 Ingredients healthy waffle recipe

Who doesn’t love waffles? Unfortunately the options of the pre-made waffle mixes available on the market today are not great, and I would strongly recommend you to make your own, especially if this is something you eat on a regular basis. Here’s an easy and simple waffle recipe idea you can make with only 5 ingredients.

The recipe below yields one waffle (4 quarters or 4 squares).


Oatmeal, ground (1/2 cup)
Almond Milk (1/4 cup)
Banana (1/2)
Applesauce (1 tbsp)
Egg White (1)


Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a waffle pan, wait five minutes and enjoy with your favourite fruit or a drizzle of 100% pure maple syrup.
