Today on the show I share an example of something hurtful my mom said over the weekend and how it affected my behavior and the food choices I’ve had following that.
Food and eating are extremely emotional in nature and if we don’t know how to control our thoughts and emotions around this, we can easily find ourselves numbing with binge eating, excessive drinking, late-night eating, reserving to sweets and treats, etc, which only add to the negative feelings and perceptions of “not good enough”.
From there it is a never-ending cycle of self-sabotaging and never feeling in control of your life.
Today I share five strategies you can use next time you are in a similar situation.
